With the Easter Bunny en route to Matagorda County, several entities are closing early in preparation for the holiday.
In observance of Good Friday, March 29, the Matagorda County Courthouse and city business offices will be closed.
Also, the Bay City Public Library will be closed Friday-Saturday, March 29-30, for its Easter holiday.
The U.S. Postal Service office will be open Friday and Saturday during normal business hours.
Van Vleck and Tidehaven ISD students will be out Friday, March 29, and Monday, April 1, then return to school Tuesday, April 2.
Bay City ISD students are off for Good Friday, but return to regular school hours Monday, April 1.
Bay City Sentinel offices are also closed Friday and will return to regular business hours Monday, April 1.
