If you’re looking for something to do this weekend for Mother’s Day, check out these events Saturday and Sunday in Bay City.
The Friends of the Bay City Library hosts its annual “Mother’s Day Tea Party,” starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at the Cecil Roberts Community Room in the Bay City Public Library at 1100 7th St.
Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.

The Bay City Parks and Recreation Department hosts a “Mother’s Day Concert” starting at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 12, at Liberty Park at 2004 6th St.
The event is free and open to the public while featuring music by “Lonestar Bluegrass.”
Attendees should bring their lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
