Bay City Police Department was reporting that its staff turned over 286 pounds of prescription drugs last week to DEA agents with the Drug Take Back Program.
BCPD reminds citizens that the drop box is available to them seven days a week - any time of the day or night - at the BCPD located at 2201 Ave H in Bay City. No questions asked.
Drop off any unwanted medications or illegal drugs.
“All we ask is that no needles or liquids are deposited in the drop box,” Police Chief Christella Rodriguez said.
The drug drop box is a joint effort between Bay Area Council On Drugs & Alcohol (BACODA) and the police department and is free to citizens.
