Farmers market, Surf, Turf on tap Saturday

If you’re looking for something to do, check out what’s happening this Saturday.
Bay City Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture has its market day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bay City Civic Center, 201 7th St.
This event also features a farmers market.
“The farmers market is funded by the ag committee of the chamber and strictly for those vendors who have produced their own products,” said Chamber Vice President Irene Bishop.
“The type of farmers market products we’re looking for are items such as fruits, honey, vegetables, milk, eggs, beef, etc.”
Currently, there are over 40 vendors signed up and there are still spots for more.
“For Market Day vendors, the fee is $125 – a $50 deposit and $75 for the booth,” she explained.
“Every year we get new vendors and have many repeat vendors from previous years, too.”
Bishop said that interested vendors can call the Chamber office directly at 979-245-8333 to discuss further details.
“We hope everyone will come out and support our indoor show,” she added.
“It will be nice and cool, easy to shop and eat!”
