Bay City to celebrate July 4th at Le Tulle

   Bay City will celebrate the 248th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence at Le Tulle Park beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 4. 
  Hosted in the Le Tulle Park (1135 S Hwy 35) with music, inflatables, swing ride- back by popular demand - Big Top Bounce House and Ultimate Challenge Obstacle course, games (backyard bass, giant checkers, corn hole to name a few) and a grand fireworks display. 
  Nana’s House of Treats, Kona Ice, Gelu Italian Ice, Schawarmin’ Up and Southern Agape will be on site to sell treats and refreshments throughout the night. 
  At 7 p.m., Tenie Holmes Choir will sing our National Anthem followed by welcoming remarks from Mayor Robert Nelson. 
  The Zydeco Dots (a rockin’ dance, boogie, and Cajun/Zydeco Band) will perform from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. 
  The highlight of the evening will be the largest fireworks display in Matagorda County beginning at 9:30 p.m. (please do not park along the highway). 
  There is no charge for the event! 
  Be sure to bring chairs and picnic blankets to sit on at the park.
