The brush pick up issue was a topic of discussion with GFL and Council at last week’s meeting.
The City staff will be monitoring this concern, said Interim City Manager Scotty Jones.

Brush piles should only be 2 cubic yards in size (approximately the size of 4 trash toters combined).
If your brush pile was missed and you have additional brush that needs to be picked up, to avoid extra charges, please contact GFL at 979-245-0368.
The City’s brush site is open Monday thru Friday, 1-4 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon, for city residents to drop off brush at no charge.
Also, don’t forget about the city’s new app (BayCityTX4U) to report solid waste concerns.
