Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man near Cedar Lane, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputies were sent to Private Road 517, located off of FM 457 a few miles north of Cedar Lane, in reference to a deceased man at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4.
The Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers are investigating the death.
Information will be available as the investigation progresses.
