Man charged in connection with deaths of two females in auto crash in Van Vleck

   Kanye Williams, 19, of Bay City, was arrested and booked Wednesday, Sept. 4, in connection with the deaths of two females Kylie Folmar,19, and Haleigh Matchett, 17, who were passengers in the car he was driving.
  He was booked on two second degree felony counts for collision involving death, said DPS Sgt. Stephen Woodard.
  Williams was the driver of the 2016 BMW that crashed and later caught fire after hitting a 1998 Cadillac Coupe De Ville and a utility pole early morning Monday, Sept. 2, in Van Vleck.
  Williams was arrested Wednesday by DPS officers and was taken to Matagorda County Jail.
  He also was under three outstanding traffic warrants for registration violation, failure to maintain financial responsibility, and failure to appear (not showing up in court).
