James E. (Jim) Jumonville, Jr., 67, was born on June 24, 1957, to James E. Jumonville, Sr. and Carolina Jumonville and died on August 26, 2024.
Jim grew up in Brownsville and after graduating from Homer Hanna High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served our country as a Military Police Officer.
After being honorably discharged, he went to work at South Padre Island Police Department.
He then moved to Bay City, Texas in 1982 to work for the Bay City Police Department until his retirement and he then moved to Round Rock Texas to be with his family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Arthur Jumonville; niece, Zayra Villarreal Estevilla.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, James Jumonville, III & wife Alicia; grandchildren, Genevieve Jumonville and James Jumonville, IV; sister, Carmen Villarreal & husband Juan; sister, Melanie Jumonville; brother, John Jumonville & wife Carmay; nieces Jessica and Setara.
It was Jim’s wishes to be cremated.
There will be a Mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church; 2500 Limmer Loop; Hutto, TX 78634 on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
