A robber grabbed a bank bag full of cash from an Ai United Insurance employee at 10:13 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, Bay City police reported.
Officers were sent to the insurance firm at 2515 7th Street, in reference to a theft.
Before officers arrived, police dispatch advised the complainant said an unknown man stole a bank bag full of cash from her and ran to the back of the building.
Officers checked the area before talking with the complainant.
After interviewing the complainant, Officer Dillon Wakefield discovered it was actually a robbery that had occurred.
The complainant told police the robber pushed her, grabbed the bank bag, and ran to the back side of the building.
The complainant was not injured during her incident, police said.
Police said the only suspect information at this time is, a male with a darker complexion, wearing a black shirt, and about 5’5’’ in height.
