Matagorda County Retired Teachers Association (MCRTA) will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 3000 9th St. in Bay City.
A Chick-fil-A box lunch will be served at the cost of $11.

Representatives from Wreaths Across America and AMBA will be the speakers for the October meeting.

The total cost to be a member of both the state TRTA and local MCRTA organizations is $50 annually.
Future regular meeting dates are Oct. 1, Dec. 3, Feb. 4, April 1, and May 6.
The District 3 TRTA Fall Meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Nichols Street Church of Christ at 1200 Nichols Ave.
The catered K-2 meal is free to MCRTA members.
Others wishing to attend will be charged $12 per plate.
