This year’sAnnual HomeTown Christmas Celebration includes the 44th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade co-sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, Christmas in the Park Celebration, the ever-popular Wilderness Trail of Lights and Christmas Movies in the Park.
The HomeTown Christmas event kicks off Friday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. with Bay City’s 44th Lighted Christmas Parade.
Last year we had over 70 parade entries.
Trophies will be awarded to the best scoring groups in their category.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, we host the 15th Annual Christmas In The Park at Riverside Park from 1-5 p.m. featuring a Zip-Line, Winterland Maze along with photos with Santa and the Grinch! Our plans also include informational booths, crafts, games, and food trucks.
The evening ends with Hayrides through the Wilderness Trail of Lights from 6-9 p.m.
Parking for the event is $10/car.
From Sunday, Dec. 8 – Sunday, Dec. 15. the 15th Annual Wilderness Trail of Lights continues with Hayrides each night from 6 – 9 p.m. Parking is $5/car.
The Wilderness Trail of Lights will continue from Monday, December 18th – Monday, January 1st from 6 – 9 p.m. at no charge.
Friday, December 13th we will host the ever-popular Movies in the Park starting at 6:30 p.m.
This month is a double feature – “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Frosty the Snowman”.
Make sure to bring chairs and blankets to sit on and enjoy the movies. Parking is $10/car and includes hot cocoa and popcorn.
