Kick off the New Year with the “8th Annual Polar Plunge” at Hilliard Pool, 3020 LeTulle Ave.
“Will it be cold.... or warm? Come and join us for a dip!” said Interim Parks & Recreation Director Kelly Penewitt in a press release.
“On the first Saturday of each new year, Bay Citians take the ‘polar plunge’ into Hilliard Pool. This year’s event will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4.”
The entry fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 17 and under.
Each fee includes a shirt, donuts and hot cocoa as well as warmers will be at Hilliard Pool to warm up.
You can register three ways:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Armory, 1209 10th St. until Jan. 5.
Register on-line at https://cityofbaycity.org by going to the Parks and Recreation page and click on register.
Register the day of the event until 9 a.m. at Hilliard Pool
