BCPD offers easier method to file simple police reports

BCPD makes it easier for community members to file simple police reports, providing better service and allocation of resources.
Bay City Police Department announced that the agency is encouraging community members to file online reports.
As police departments work better to allocate resources and personnel while proactively and positively working with the community, using this online service will increase efficiency within the department and enhance service to community members.
This service provides a fast and efficient way for community members to report a variety of incidents like criminal mischief, harassment, or identity theft, to name a few.
Rather than visit the department in person or have an officer dispatched to you, community members can now report minor incidents online.
A link will be released in a few days to our social media page and the City of Bay City Website.
“Online community reporting allows Officers to stay focus on the immediate needs of the community,” said Chief Christella Rodriguez.
“The ability for community members to submit police reports online allows law enforcement agencies with limited resources to focus on public safety issues such as crime prevention and investigation.”
LexisNexis Coplogic Solutions implemented this incident reporting system which is designed as a safe and secure resource for community members in their effort to file an insurance claim while helping the police department to maintain a safer community.
Coplogic Solutions helps law enforcement agencies across the nation to improve efficiency and services to their communities, and leverage data and analytics to save more lives on their community’s roadways.
