Javier Solis was named Assistant Superintendent of Finance for Van Vleck Independent School District.
Solis’ appointment follows the retirement of Mrs. Gayle Blackmon in January.
Solis, who holds a Superintendent's certification, brings a wealth of knowledge, and experience to our district, said VVISD Superintendent Christie Dement.
“His skill set, leadership, and commitment to education make him a fantastic addition to our team,” Dement added.
“We are confident that his dedication will continue to strengthen the financial foundation of our schools and enhance the educational opportunities for all our students,” she said.
