"Easter weekend features variety of events to see" by: Jessica Shepard

If you’re looking to catch the Easter Bunny out and about this weekend there are a handful of county events you can check out.
Bay City Parks and Recreation Department has its annual “Easter Egg-Stravaganza” on Friday, April 18.
The event will be from 12-3 p.m. at LeTulle Park, 1135 TX 35.
All egg scrambles are broken down by age and event activ  ities will be free and open to the public.
Parents should note that each scramble lasts about one minute and is not repeated, so children should be at the scramble for their age group on time.
Age groups are broken down for ages 4-10 and kick-off at 12:20 p.m. for four-year-olds.
Children ages 0-3 years old and those with special needs will be able to join in the fun of the egg scrambles at the “Haystack” egg hunt area.
There will also be inflatable games, photo opportunity areas, and backyard games like corn hole.
“All egg hunts are free for the public,” said Parks & Recreation Director Kelly Penewitt in a press release.
“Plus, food trucks will be parked and ready to serve up delicious treats.”
