Coach Mike Pierce was recently inducted into the 2025 Region IV Track Hall of Honor.
Pierce has had a long standing involvement in Tidehaven athletics and the Tidehaven track meet has already been renamed the Mike Pierce Relays.
Pierce was a four year letterman at Tidehaven and the track coach from 1987-1999.
His team won seven district championships and six of those were in a row.
