Rev. Marvin Joe Moore and Mrs. Mildred Ann Moore will be celebrating their 50th consecutive year in full-time pastoral ministry at First Church in Bay City, Texas on May 25, 2025.
They are still actively pastoring and consistently involved in the service of the Lord.
Dr. Moore has baptized thousands of people in the lovely name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He has ministered the gospel not only in our nation, but all over the world.
He has preached in South Africa, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Hungary, Mexico, France, Belgium, Jordan, Israel, England, Scotland,
The Netherlands, Guam, and India.
Soon to be age 84, he plans to visit and encourage ministers in Goa next year.
Mildred, a phenomenal musician and outstanding singer, has contributed to the music ministry of not only the local assembly but also ministered in music as Marvin has preached worldwide.
Their ministry has seen many miracles, countless divine healings, and unbridled great faith as they have fasted, prayed and continued steadfast in the Word of God.
Mrs. Moore is a former school teacher who is currently a Licensed Professional Couselor.
At age 76 she continues to help victims of domestic abuse and is an active part of our county's crisis intervention team for community members needing counseling during times of disasters, catastrophes, or emergencies.
This dynamic team holds multiple certifications and licenses to always be prepared to help all members of the local and extended congregants.
Additionally, they teach and mentor others how to be effective in ministry leadership.
The greatest testament to that is evidenced by the generational blessing of their children and grandchildren continuing in their footsteps and being involved in the church's pastoral, music, and outreach ministries.
