BCPD welcomes 2 new officers

From the Bay City Police Department

   Officer Efrain Robles was born and raised in Bay City, Texas, and has been a proud lifelong resident of our community. From a young age, 
  Efrain dreamed of becoming a police officer to give back to his hometown and serve the citizens of Bay City with dedication and integrity.
  After graduating from Bay City High School—where he was active in both basketball and cross country all four years—Efrain attended Wharton County Junior College. 
  During that time, his passion for public service grew, and he chose to begin his law enforcement journey by joining the Bay City Police Department as a dispatcher.
  Determined to continue his path, Efrain attended the Brazosport College Law Enforcement Academy, where he built lasting friendships and meaningful memories. 
  After successfully completing the program, he passed the State of Texas licensing exam and earned his certification as a peace officer.
  Efrain is committed to working hard, gaining knowledge, and continually growing in the profession. 
  His goals include advancing his education in criminal justice and moving up through the ranks within the department.
  In his free time, Efrain enjoys fishing and spending quality time with his family. 
  His dedication to both community and service makes him a valuable addition to our department.
   Officer Demi Bujnoch is a compassionate, community-driven professional with a strong  foundation in advocacy and public service. Officer Demi Bujnoch is a compassionate, community-driven professional with a strong foundation in advocacy and public service. 
  A 2015 graduate of Van Vleck High School, Demi went on to earn her associate degree from Wharton County Junior College and her bachelor’s degree from Lamar University.
  Before joining law enforcement, Demi served as a forensic interviewer and outreach specialist—roles in which she became a powerful voice for children impacted by abuse. 
  She conducted sensitive, trauma-informed interviews with young victims and worked tirelessly to educate the public on recognizing abuse, preventing assault, and connecting families with critical resources.
  Beyond her professional achievements, Demi is a proud dog mom, devoted family member, and loyal friend. 
  She enjoys spending time with loved ones, staying active at the gym, traveling, and competing in her local bowling league.
  Motivated by a calling to serve in law enforcement, Demi brings with her a deep desire to effect meaningful change. 
  Her goals include advancing in public safety, building trust between law enforcement and the community, and continuing to educate, support, and serve individuals facing life’s many challenges.
  Whether on duty or in her personal life, Demi leads with heart, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact.
