       After several years, the Bay City Police Department is officially bringing Bike Patrol back into service.
      This specialized unit will enhance community engagement and increase police presence during:
      • Special Events
      • Parades
      • Neighborhood Patrol Assignments
      • Halloween Patrol
      • Targeted Operations in Parks and Downtown Areas
      • Community Outreach Activities
      “Bike Patrol allows our officers to be more approachable, agile, and effective in areas where patrol cars can’t easily go,” said Police Chief Christella Rodriguez.. 
      “Their presence will strengthen connections with the public and improve safety in high-traffic areas.
      “We’re proud of these officers for completing this demanding training and stepping up to serve our community in this new capacity when needed.”
