Bay City police officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Avenue F, about someone shooting out of their vehicle in the 4800 block of Avenue F as the suspect vehicle passed up their vehicle, Wednesday, Aug. 6, just a able to find the suspect vehicle.
A short time later, Matagorda County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle matching the description in the 600 block of 12th Street, Hardeman Park.
Inside the vehicle were Juan Rojas, 22, of Bay City, Jacob Ruddick, 22, of Bay City, Rodrigo Barrera, 22, of Bay City, and Briana Leija, 18, of Houston.
After the investigation, two guns were recovered inside the vehicle.
All four subjects were arrested for deadly conduct discharge a firearm, a 3rd degree felony, and transported to the Matagorda County Jail.
