Family Nurse Practitioner Mary Ann Shimek (left) was recognized for 20 years of dedicated service to Vibrance Health on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
Shimek, who first joined the organization when it was known as MEHOP and operated from a mobile unit, has faithfully cared for patients and families in the community for two decades.
Colleagues, friends, and family gathered for a surprise celebration in her honor, complete with balloons, cake, a barbecue lunch and a special tribute to her years of service.
