City launches ‘Customer Satisfaction Survey’

The City of Bay City launched a “Customer Satisfaction Survey” online last week.
“Have you interacted with the City of Bay City recently?” reads the City’s June 29 Facebook post.
“Please take a minute and let us know about your experience. Residents are encouraged to complete the survey by using the QR code or by following the link below.”
The survey can be found by going to https://cobc.s.gy/CustomerSurvey.
As of press time, Monday afternoon, the survey was shared across Facebook almost a dozen times.
The survey features about 10 questions spanning when someone recently contacted the city, which department they sought, method of contact, and their overall experience.
There is also a section for responders to provide a rating from one to five stars, with five being an “excellent” rating.
“Please note surveys are sent to departments at the beginning of the month for the month prior,” reads the survey’s introduction statement.
“If you would like to be contacted, please enter your contact information in the box below.”
The survey also asks the responder to describe themselves as either a job applicant, city staff, consultant, contractor, someone employed in Bay City, a Bay City business owner or property manager, a citizen or resident, and there is a space for an “other” designation.
“When you submit this form, it will not automatically collect your details like name and email address unless you provide it yourself,” reads the survey.
“By submitting a mobile number, I am opting in to receive text communications from The City of Bay City. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.”
