VVHS Lady Leps have won 8 straight games for 14-2-1 mark

   Van Vleck Lady Leps have now won eight in a row and defeated the Danbury Panthers 5-4 last Thursday, March 28.
  Van Vleck pushed their record to 14-2-1 on the season and 6-0 in district with the win.
  Van Vleck picked up another solid pitching performance from Lakyn Matchett, who had four strikeouts and gave up two earned runs for the win.
  Van Vleck was led in the hitting department by Olivia Britton who went 2-4 with two RBIs and a double.
  Jaila Wilson scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-2. 
  Also picking up hits were Keira Reis 1-3 and 2 RBIs, Alexa Zuniga 1-3, Kylie Sazera 1-3 and Michelle-Rose Mirelez 1-2.
  Van Vleck was to host Hempstead on Tuesday and will travel to Hitchcock on Friday for a 5 p.m. start.
