Bay City Ladycat Soccer
Bay City Girls Soccer defeated Navasota and Cypress Park, but lost to Aubrey in the Gulf Coast Classic consolation round.
Flour Bluff won the tournament that ended Saturday Jan. 10, at Memorial Stadium.
The girls are 5-2-1 in season play and will play University and Salado in the Salado Eagle Classic Tournament Thursday, Jan. 15.
Bay City Blackcat Soccer
The Bay City Boys Soccer team also won two in the boys Gulf Coast Classic – played at Freeport’s Hopper Stadium – defeating Benbrook and Alief Hastings - but losing to Grapevine.
The Boys are 5-2 on the season and will play Needville Friday, Jan. 16

Bay City Blackcats
Bay City Blackcats lost to La Marque 74-25 Friday, Jan. 9.
The Blackcats are 12-9 on the season and 2-1 in district.
The boys will host Wharton Tuesday, Jan. 13, and will play at Needville Friday, Jan. 16.
Bay City Lady Cats
Bay City girls basketball dropped a game to La Marque 51-44 Friday, Jan. 9.
The girls are 3-13 on the season and 1-4 in district.
They will play at Wharton Jan. 13, and will host Needville Friday, Jan. 16.
Tidehaven Tigerettes
Tidehaven girls lost to Hallettsville 59-35 Friday, Jan. 9.
Girls are 21-4 on the season and 5-0 in district play. They also are ranked No. 10 in the state in the most recent Texas Press Association poll out Monday.
The Tigerettes were to play Palacios at home Tuesday, Jan. 13, and at Rice Consolidated Friday Jan. 16.
Tidehaven Tigers
The Tigers, 4-2, 0-2, played Hallettsville last Friday, winning 42-39.
Like the girls, the Tigers were to play Palacios at home Tuesday, Jan. 13, and at Rice Consolidated Friday Jan. 16.
Van Vleck Leopards
The Van Vleck Leps lost to La Grange 38-54 Friday, Jan. 9.
The boys are 7-16 on the season.
The Leps will play at Hitchcock Friday, Jan. 16.
Van Vleck Lady Leps
The girls lost to Boling 55-53 last Friday, Jan. 9, and will play Hempstead at home Tuesday, Jan. 13, and at Hitchcock Friday, Jan. 16.
The girls are 13-8, 0-1.
