  Bay City Ladycat Soccer
  Bay City Ladycat Soccer defeated Hallettsville 9-1 and Rice Consolidated 9-1 last week and were to play Columbus on Monday, and Palacios Feb. 10.
  The girls are 9-5-1 in season play and undefeated 4-0 and first in district play. 
  Bay City Blackcat Soccer
  The Bay City Boys Soccer team defeated Hallettsville 5-2 and Rice Consolidated 4-1 last week.
  The Blackcats were to play La Marque here Feb. 3 and at Wharton Feb. 6. 
  The Boys are 8-3-1 on the season and 3-0-1 and second in district.
       Basketball
  Bay City Blackcats
  Bay City Blackcats defeated El Campo 72-38 on Jan. 30.
  The Blackcats are 16-11 on the season and 6-3 and third in district.
  The Blackcats were to play La Marque here Feb. 3 and at Wharton Feb. 6. 
  Bay City Lady Cats
  Bay City Lady Cat basketball team lost to El Campo 61-49 last Friday.
  The girls are 7-15 on the season and 5-6 and fifth in district.
  This week, they will play at La Marque Feb. 3, and host Wharton Feb. 6.
  Tidehaven Tigerettes
  Tidehaven girls defeated Industrial 44-26 last Friday, Jan. 30.
  Girls are ranked 17th in the state, stand 25-6 on the season and 9-2 and second in district play.
  This week, the Tigerettes were to host Hallettsville Feb. 3, play at Palacios Feb. 6 and at Rice Consolidated Feb. 10.
  Tidehaven Tigers
  The Tigers defeated Industrial 51-43 last Friday. 
  This week, the boys’ schedule will host Hallettsville Feb. 3, travel to Palacios Feb. 6 and host Rice Feb. 10.
  The boys are 7-6 on the season, and 3-6 in district (sixth).
  Van Vleck Leopards
  The Van Vleck Leps defeated Hempstead 68-63 last Friday.
  The boys are 10-18 on the season and 3-2 in district (third).
  The Leps will play at Hitchcock Feb. 3, host Brazos Feb. 6, and will play East Bernard here Feb. 10.
  Van Vleck Lady Leps
  The girls defeated Hempstead 53-40 last Friday, Jan. 30.
  This week, their schedule included hosting Hempstead Feb. 3, and Brazos Feb. 6, and playing East Bernard there Feb. 10.
  The girls are 17-11 on the season and 4-3 and third in district.
