Bay City Ladycat Soccer
Bay City Girls Soccer, 7-5-1, 2-0 defeated Calhoun 8-0 in a district match Jan. 22.
The girls were set to Hallettsville Monday – before the winter storm arrived – and will host Rice Consolidates Saturday, Jan. 31.
Bay City Blackcat Soccer
The Bay City Boys Soccer team defeated Calhoun 6-0 Friday, Jan. 13, at Port Lavaca.
Hallettsville was on the schedule for Monday (pending winter storm) and the boys will play at Rice Thursday, Jan. 29.
The Blackcats at 6-3-1 on the season and 1-0-1 in district play (third).
Basketball
Bay City Blackcats
Bay City Blackcats, 14-11, 4-3 in district, lost to Brazosport 91-40 in a district game Friday, Jan. 23.
They will play at El Campo Friday, Jan. 30, and at La Marque Feb. 3.
Bay City Lady Cats
Bay City girls basketball defeated Brazosport 53-37 Saturday, Jan. 24.
They were to play Sweeny Tuesday, Jan. 27, and will host El Campo Friday, Jan.30.
The girls are 6-14 on the season and 4-5 in district (fourth).
Tidehaven Tigerettes
The Tigerettes lost to Edna 45-36 there Jan. 23.
Tigerettes were to play Columbus Tuesday, Jan. 27 and will host Industrial Friday, Jan. 30.
The 10th-ranked Tigerettes are 24-5 on the season and 8-1 in district play (first).
Tidehaven Tigers
The Tidehaven Tigers are 6-5 overall, and 2-5 in district (sixth).
They lost at Edna 46-37 last Friday.
The Tigers were to play at Columbus Tuesday, Jan. 27, and will host Industrial, Friday Jan. 30.
Van Vleck Leopards
The Van Vleck Leps defeated East Bernard 46-40 at home Friday, Jan. 23.
The Leopards are 8-18 on the season and 1-2 in district.
The Leps will host Boling Friday, Jan. 27, and will play at Hempstead Friday, Jan. 30.
Van Vleck Lady Leps
The girls defeated East Bernard 53-38 last Friday, Jan. 23, and will play Boling at home Tuesday, Jan. 27, and at Hempstead Friday, Jan. 30.
The girls are 15-10, 2-2 (fourth in district).
