Bay City begins District 12-4A-1 play this week by traveling to Brazosport Friday night, Oct. 8.
“Nothing like starting district where everyone starts 0-0,” said Blackcat Head Coach Robert Jones.
“We have to be ready to go Friday and execute in all three phases of the game,” he added.
“We had a great week of practice during the off week and got back healthy so I’m looking to for us to have a great showing Friday.
“This is a game a mark on my calendar with me spending seven years of my career in Brazosport so it should be fun to be standing on the opposite sideline and getting to see some of my former players on the field and in the stands so trust me I’m ready for Friday night.
Bay City carries a 2-2 non-district mark, while Brazosport is 1-3 on the season.
