The Bay City Lady Cat Basketball team added several post-season honors after a decisive District 26-4A-1 championship and an impressive 29-2, 12-0 record this year.
Lady Cat Coach Chandi Jones is the district’s Coach of the Year.
Alaysia Cook was named Most Valuable Player.
Khylee Perry was the Newcomer of the Year.
Lady Cats on the First Team All-District list were Alizia Gonzales, Madison Thrift and Iyanna Williams.
Placing on the Second Team All District list was Jacque’lene Jones.
Earning Honorable Mention placement were Malorie Richardson-Clay and Kaniyah West.
All-Academic recognition went to Alaysia Cook, Alizia Gonzales, Jacque’lene Jones and Madison Thrift.
