The Bay City High School Ladycats shut out Sweeny (7-0) and Waco La Vega (6-0) last week en route to its regional quarterfinal round against Needville Tuesday night, April 5.
“We’re looking forward to the matchup,” Ladycat Soccer Head Coach Darin Dabelgott said about the game with the Needville Lady Jays.
“They have played several teams that we have played with similar results.
“The farther you make into playoffs the better the teams will be,” Dabelgott said.
“It will come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes.
“Coach Smithey’s Lady Jays will be up to the challenge after their 4-0 win over Taylor Saturday,” the coach added.
The Lady Cats are 23-4-1 on the season, while Needville stands 22-3.
“If we win Tuesday, the regional semi-final will be Friday.”
