It was a great team performanceVVHS Cheerleaders did a great job cheering on our teams last night against East Bernard.
I am so proud of our team defensively.
They are executing our defense gameplan, they are really taking pride in our defense and it shows.
We held East Bernard to 0 FG in the 1st quarter and only 1 two-point FG in the 1st half.
Corey Austin is one of the best players in our region.
Corey simply dominated again tonight scoring a game-high 27 points.
Micah Burks was close to a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds.
We are a better team when Micah plays well for us.
Peyton Huerta proved how valuable he is to our team.
Tonight Peyton contributed without even scoring a single point.
His defense vs Ty Domal was great and he handled the ball well for us.
Hector Mares played a great game. He defended, contributed with 5 points, and made winning plays for us.
Ty’lan Robertson had a good floor game for us. He played like the guard he is capable of being. He also had some timely steals.
Keemar Allums, Devin Barnes, Orlando Ramey, Marcavion Ruckett, Ridge Huerta, and Charlie Hill provided us with much-needed energy.
I am very proud to say we are improving.
