Tidehaven will have to shake off two weeks of rust when they play Rice Consolidated there this week.
“It should be a great game,” said Tiger Head Coach David Lucio.
“They’ve had a tough schedule and have taken some tough losses, but our one common opponent, Palacios, we both beat by 21 points.”
They have a ton of athletes, and their kids play extremely hard,” Lucio remarked.
“Coming off two weeks with no game, we will need to find a way to not look so rusty.
“This week will be filled with physical practices, so that we don’t look like a team that hasn’t played in two weeks.
Tidehaven is 2-2 on the season and Rice Consolidated is 2-3.
Game time at Rice Consolidated is 7:30 p.m. Friday.
