Blackcats competed at the area track meet last week, with several athletes advancing to the Regional Track Meet in Kingsville Friday, April 28.

4x100 Relay (1st 43.25) - Jada Andrews, Jah'mari Johnson, Antonio Castro, Brice Turner
2x200 Relay (3rd) - Jada Andrews, Jah'mari Johnson, Xylan Williams, Brice Turner.
Van Vleck Leopard Nations Emilee Schneider won her 3rd Area Championship medal at the recent area track meet.
She is the champ in the 3200, the 800 and the 1600 meter runs and will advance to the region meet.
She’s shown on the top of the three winner blocks, flanked by second and third by East Bernard and Brazos.
