In Round 3 of the playoffs the Tigers fell 2 games to 1 to Columbus.
In the first game, the Tigers lost 4-0.
On the mound, TJ Galvan pitched 7 innings, giving up 4 runs, only 2 earned, striking out 8 and scattering 7 hits.
At the plate, Connor Claxton and Ricky Rubio collected 1 hit each.
In Game 2, the Tigers won 3-0 to force Game 3.
Ritchie ZGarcia pitched a masterpiece once again, giving up 0 runs, 2 hits, striking out 9 in 6 2/3 innings.
Ricky Rubio got the save, striking out the lone batter he faced.
Leading hitter with 2 hits was Rubio.
Getting 1 hit each: Kale Russell, Cam Johnson, C. Rubio, Kevin Rickaway, Connor Claxton and Jechan Duran.
In Game 3, the Tigers were defeated 10-0.
A tough way to end the season - Duran had the lone hit.
But at the end of the day a heck of a run, proud of these kids upperclassman on down.
Hats off to Columbus, they pitched great throughout and came out hitting Game 3.
