The Tigers opened district play at Hallettsville on Tuesday, May 9, and won 10-0 in a five-inning run rule.
Getting the win on the mound was Jordan Duran pitching five shutout innings giving up two hits striking out three.
Leading the team in hitting with two hits each were: Ricky Rubio, including a leadoff home run, and Logan Crow.
On Friday, March 11, we traveled to Flatonia and defeated Falls City 9-2.
Getting the win on the mound was Logan Crow, pitching five innings giving up one run on one hit, striking out eight.
Marco Garcia pitched the final two innings, giving up one run on one hit striking out three.
Leading hitters with two hits each were: Ricky Rubio, Jordan Duran, Connor Claxton and Clyde Griffith.
On Saturday, March 12, we defeated Fayettville, winning 14-1.
Getting the win on the mound was Jechan Duran pitching three innings striking out four.
Jackson Sones finished the last two innings giving up one run on two hits, striking out three.
Leading hitter with three hits was Crow.
Later that evening we were defeated by Shiner St. Paul, losing 12-6, taking the loss on the mound was Connor Claxton.
Crow was leading hitter with two hits.
He was 8-11 on the week, with three doubles, a triple, seven RBIs and nine stolen bases.
