The Van Vleck Swim Team placed second in El Campo at the District 12 4A Championship on Friday, January 19th.
Both the boys and the girls teams placed second in district, making this the best district performance in school history.
There are 12 individual races and 5 relays are advancing to regionals, which will be Feb 2-3 at Lamar High School in Houston.

“These kids have overcome multiple injuries and illness to be able to compete at this meet. I am so proud of the dedication and determination they have shown this season;” Van Vleck swim coach Ingrid Ryman said.
