Game Notes:
It was a frustrating way to enter the Thanksgiving break.
We led the entire game but in the 4th quarter, Needville went on a big run after Keemar Allums fouled out.
Turnovers and missed FT’s doomed us at the end.
FTs V.V. 6-10 & Needville 9-12.
We have no complaints though because Needville was also short-handed.
Our short-handed comes from injuries and family vacation and theres come from football playoffs.
We look forward to having our team back together as we welcome the much-needed Thanksgiving break.
We have a lot to be thankful for and we believe we will be a tough team to beat come district and playoffs.
Corey led all scorers with 22 points.
Junior guard Corey Austin is one of the best players in our area.
Our next game is Tuesday 11-28-23 vs Sweeny at home 6:15 pm.
