City, school races, local option to be decided on Saturday

   Early voting in several area races and one local option election didn’t reveal how involved voters are for the Saturday, May 9 election.
  Early voting ended Tuesday, May 5, with a total of 640 ballots cast through Monday at city hall for the Bay City trustee and city council elections.
   Some 176 early votes were cast for the Van Vleck trustee races and for the local option decision, also through Monday.
   The general election for the Bay City school board and city council races will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Bay City Service Center.
   Van Vleck May 9 special election voters will cast ballots at: precincts 1A and 10, the Bay City Service Center; Precinct 5, Van Vleck Community Center; and precincts 6 and 13, Cedar Lane Community Center.
