This classic car (above), from the early 1950s, was among the cars and tractors from earlier eras on display at Mr. Tire’s grand opening June 3.

Classic cars and tractors flanked the Mr. Tire Rice Farmers Coop., Inc. shop on Wednesday, June 3, during the store’s grand opening and ribbon cutting.
The tractors ranged from John Deere to Case IH and spanned a variety of makes and models.
The company itself has a rich history in El Campo.
Before Mr. Tire was even formed, El Campo rice farmers started their own coop in 1940 due to the need for warehouse space to store sacked rice.
