The new $1.2 million addition to the Center for Energy Development is taking shape. The 4,700-square-foot building will house three Wharton County Junior College training programs in manufacturing technology, electrical technology and instrumentation and control technology and is to be completed in time for the college’s fall semester. A $575,000 Tenaris grant will buy training equipment for the building, which is owned by the Bay City Community Development Corporation.
