‘Sparks in Park’ promises to dazzle

The annual “Sparks in the Park” fireworks finale promises to be 15 minutes of technologically-advanced pyrotechnics and illuminate the sky over Le Tulle Park.
This year’s “Sparks in the Park” will be at Le Tulle Park from 5 to 9:45 p.m. Saturday, July 4.
“Every seat in the park will be the best seat to watch the show,” said Parks and Recreation Department director Kelly Penewitt.
“It will leave everyone with a jaw-dropping memory to take home.”
There will be children’s activities, food booths and musical performances.
Also, the second annual Patriotic Pet contest will be offered that evening, said Penewitt.
The night’s headlining musical entertainment will be provided by Two Tons of Steel.
San Antonio-based Two Tons of Steel play their own brand of Texas country music and are sponsored by HEB.
