Patriotic Pets congratulate each other

   There were an estimated 3,500 people in LeTulle Park for the City of Bay City’s “Sparks in the Park” Independence Day celebration, said Parks & Recreation Director Kelly Penewitt. The event certainly was a family affair, with people spreading out under the trees, children playing on giant inflatables and lots of folks visiting vendors or listening to music from the Spare Change barbershop quartet and Two Tons of Steel. (See more park photos elsewhere in this week’s Sentinel.)
