CAT Campers will hear from Blackcat stars

An all-star lineup of five former Blackcat athletes will speak at the inaugural CAT (CharacterAchievement-Tradition) Camp Aug. 19-21.
Already, 120 students registered for the free event designed to unite BCHS students while giving them opportunities to rekindle old Blackcat traditions and start new ones, said faculty member and camp founder Tiffany Saunders.
“We want as many Bay City High School students as possible to attend,” she added.
A community pep rally Friday, Aug. 21, at Memorial Stadium in conjunction with the Blackcat football scrimmage against Victoria East that night will be the camp’s highlight.
The pep rally will begin about 6:30 p.m. and will include performances from the band, Aristocats and cheerleaders - plus CAT Campers showing off what they learned during their three-day camp experience.
