Oktoberfest to raise money for USO Service Center

“Grab your Lederhosen and Drindl and join us at the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest Funraiser,” said Parks and Recreation Director Kelly Penewitt.
The event will be hosted from 7 – 11 p.m. at 2105 Ave. M on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 7 – 11 p.m. at the USO Service Center.
“The Billie Ledbetter Orchestra will make a return engagement this year to perform your favorite songs to dance all night long,” said Penewitt.
There will also be a photo booth available for guests to use.
This event will raise funds to purchase new tables and chairs with dollies at the USO for the auditorium and Train Depot.
Light refreshments will be sold by Real Deal Grill and set ups will be sold by the Bay City Historical Committee.
The event is BYOB for those over 21 years of age.
Tickets and tables are on sale now at the Parks and Recreation Office located at 1217 Ave. J. Tickets are $20/person or $150/table of 8.
“Even if you can’t dance you will enjoy the evening,” she said.
“This is an event you won’t want to miss!”
