Cash America held up by gun-wielding robber

   A handgun-wielding robber demanded money from Cash America tellers and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash Friday afternoon, May 13, Bay City police said.
   Bay City police were told the suspect was an unknown black male by Cash America employees following the holdup at about 2:30 p.m. at the store’s location at 4500 Seventh Street.
   No one was injured in the robbery, officers said.
   The suspect ordered employees to the rear of the store and he ran out the front, police reports show. 
   Employees escaped the store through the back door and began knocking on the back doors to other businesses in the business strip, police said. 
   The employees made it to the AT&T store and called 911. 
   The suspect is described as wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, a blue ball cap and white shows. 
   The man had no facial hair and was believed to have left in a white, four-door Dodge truck. 
   No license plate number was readily available. Detective Christopher Cunningham is investigating this case.
