A freezing start to the new year

With Tuesday’s temperatures in the mid-30s, bundled-up workers with Cuero-based Weaver & Jacobs Constructors make progress on the new construction and renovations at Bay City High School that are part of the BCISD’s $124 million bond issue. The work at BCHS calls for a new baseball field and renovations to the softball field. The guaranteed maximum price of $3,064,642 also includes air-conditioned bathrooms, new batting cages, drainage improvements, elevated seating and a new entrance that unifies both fields.
