Museum holds Bess art exhibit reception

Bay City native Forrest Bess was an acclaimed international artist, but an early achievement in his life was helping develop camoflauge during World War II. Naming this January event Camofest was in his honor. Folks gathered at the Matagorda County Museum reception Friday night to admire some of Bess’ paintings.
