"First-ever Flock Fest full of things to see, do" by: Jessica Shepard

The first-ever “Flock Fest” features a variety of activities for adults and children and the young at heart.
Flock Fest is a two-day Christmas Event featuring a variety of activities Friday-Saturday, Dec. 7-8, in downtown Bay City.
Everything kicks off with Bay City Chamber Lighted Christmas Parade and Parks and Recreation Snack with Santa at Liberty Park and Christmas Lights Display Friday.
This year’s parade theme is “Visions of Christmas” and plans to feature over 40 different floats and entries.
“We still have a few spots available for those interested in being a part of the parade,” said Irene Bishop, Bay City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture vice president.
“Applications need to be turned in by noon on Friday so that we can finalize the entry positions in the parade run. Plus, we’ll be making a weather call later that afternoon if there is rain or other inclement weather.”
