Camo For A Cause! Help Bay City Parks and Recreation raise money for the Le Tulle Dreamscape – A Playground for All - Saturday, Jan. 26. 11:30 a.m. ish start.
Walk, waddle, stagger or crawl down Avenue G starting at the 1905 MOPAC Train Depot to 5th Street and back to the depot in your best, craziest, most original camo gear (remember we are in public).
Start your Camo Day off with donuts and hot cocoa to charge you up to waddle down the avenue.
At the half way point – re-charge with mini pastries, sweet tea and water to make it back to the 1905 MOPAC Depot to have your picture taken at the finish line.
Waiting at the finish line will be more donuts, mini pastries, sweet tea, hot cocoa and water to revive yourself after the long Half K.
We will end the day with an “awards” ceremony where everyone that finishes will receive their Half K medal and more photo opportunities.
Trophies will be given out for the craziest camo outfit and the most original camo outfit.
The Parks Hayride will have pick up locations downtown and at City Hall to take you to and from the MOPAC Train Depot back to your car or to Camo Fest.
There will be no parking at the MOPAC Train Depot that morning.
