"Everyone knows they’ve been given grace, just not the magnitude of God’s grace" by: Caleb Gibson

Thich Nhat Hanh once said, “Love in such a way that the person you love feels free.”
When I think about the way Jesus loves, He loves in such a way that we feel free.
We all can choose to have eternal life or eternal death.
   You are free in Christ.
I believe this can be used in many areas of life such as our evangelism and relationships.
Jesus once told His disciples, “whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.” (Matthew 10:14).
We are called to tell people about the good news of Jesus, but if they do not receive it, we are not supposed to force our belief on them.
We must dust our feet off and keep moving forward.
Leave the door open for more discussion, but do not let it discourage you.
Your job in evangelism is to sow the word.
Jesus also once used a parable to explain how we share the gospel.
He said, “The sower sows the word.” (Mark 4:14).
Some seeds are placed on the ground but are later snatched up.
Others went on “the rocky places who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy” but have no root (Mark 4:16-17).
Finally those who are  good soil, receive it and bring back a, “thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold” return (Mark 4:20).
What is our calling as fellow believers?
We are called to continue and sow the word.
What does it mean to be in Christ?
On the cross what happened to Him, happened to us.
He was crucified, buried, raised, and seated in heavenly places.
So are we today; we have been buried, raised, and seated.
Not only are you loved, you are more than loved.
Not only are you forgiven, you are more than forgiven.
I think everyone knows that they’ve been given grace, but we do not fully understand the magnitude of God’s grace.
We can grow through the help of others.
Some people give us water and help us grow. Others shine light on our soul and help us even more.
Each part plays a role the planting, the watering, and the sunlight all help in the growth of the plant.
I don’t know if this is just my personal experience, but every time I hear someone talk about self-help books, they always bash them.
Ultimately you are reading a book that was not written by you.
So, it is not your ideas.
It’s really other people helping you.
In a similar way, this is what the Apostle Paul was doing except that His writings were inspired by God.
It’s just a title that helps everyone know what genre your book is.
To seclude ourselves away from the advice of God and others is no help to ourselves.
Remember, “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1).
It is knowing the love of God that causes us to live a moral life.
Loving with freedom allows evangelism and our relationships to be fruitful.
May we continue to love in such a way that those around us feel free.
